Warranty Information

LIMITED WARRANTY - HARDWARE: ISE FLEET SERVICES WARRANTS THAT HARDWARE, LIMITED TO THE A317 DISPLAY (“PRODUCT”), IS FREE FROM DEFECTS IN MATERIALS AND MANUFACTURING, UNDER NORMAL USE, FOR A PERIOD OF 12 MONTHS FROM DATE OF SHIPMENT TO CUSTOMER. MICRONET INC ("MANUFACTURER") WILL, AT ITS OPTION, REPAIR OR REPLACE ANY PRODUCT THAT DOES NOT COMPLY WITH THIS WARRANTY. IF A PRODUCT IS FOUND NON-WORKABLE AFTER ISE FLEET SERVICES’ SUPPORT CONDUCTS TROUBLESHOOTING, MANUFACTURER WILL ISSUE AN RMA NUMBER AND PROVIDE A RETURN SHIPPING LABEL FOR SERVICE. COMPLETED REPAIRS ARE RETURNED TO YOU VIA GROUND SHIPPING SERVICE AT MANUFACTURER’S EXPENSE. THIS PRODUCT WARRANTY IS VOIDED BY THE FOLLOWING:

I. ANY MODIFICATION OR ATTEMPTED MODIFICATION TO THE PRODUCT BY ANYONE OTHER THAN AN AUTHORIZED ISE FLEET SERVICES OR MICRONET INC REPRESENTATIVE ;

II. IF POWER SUPPLIED TO THE PRODUCT EXCEEDS THE STATED TOLERANCE, OR IF THE PRODUCT IS OPERATED IN ENVIRONMENTS EXCEEDING THE PRODUCT’S STATED TOLERANCE FOR TEMPERATURE, HUMIDITY, MOISTURE, RADIATION OR ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELDS;

III. ANY ABUSE, NEGLIGENT HANDLING OR MISAPPLICATION OF THE PRODUCT; OR

IV. ANY ALTERATION, REMOVAL OR OBSTRUCTION OF THE SERIAL NUMBER.

THIS WARRANTY EXCLUDES:

I. PHYSICAL DAMAGE TO THE SURFACE OF THE PRODUCT, INCLUDING SCRATCHES OR CRACKS ON THE TOUCHSCREEN OR OUTSIDE CASE;

II. NORMAL WEAR ITEMS, INCLUDING FUSES AND BATTERIES; AND

III. DAMAGE CAUSED BY THE DEVICE OR SYSTEM TO WHICH THE PRODUCT IS CONNECTED.


LIMITATION OF LIABILITY - HARDWARE: TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL ISE FLEET SERVICES BE LIABLE FOR LOST PROFITS OR ANY OTHER INDIRECT, PUNITIVE OR CONSEQUETIAL DAMAGES, ARISING FROM BREACH OF WARRANTY OR ANY OTHER CIRCUMSTANCE RELATING TO THE USE OR OPERATION OF A PRODUCT, AND IN NO EVENT WILL ISE FLEET SERVICES’ LIABILITY TO A CUSTOMER FOR BREACH OF WARRANTY OR ANY OTHER CLAIM BASED ON A PRODUCT BE MORE THAN THE AMOUNT PAID BY THE CUSTOMER TO ISE FLEET SERVICES FOR THE PRODUCT.

OUT OF WARRANTY REPAIRS:

I. NON-WARRANTY DIAGNOSTIC CHARGES: Micronet Inc charges a $100 Diagnostic Fee for all Non-Warranty Product repair requests; this includes a Product that is returned for warranty repairs and found to be excluded. The Diagnostic Fee will be credited to customer-authorized repairs. The Diagnostic Fee also applies to Products returned for repairs for which no problem is found or for which problems are found but the customer requests the Product be scrapped rather than repaired. The customer will be invoiced for shipping costs to return Products.

II. NON-WARRANTY REPAIR PROCESS AND CHARGES: Products not under warranty may be returned to Micronet Inc shipping prepaid. Micronet Inc will perform a complete diagnostic (see charges above), provide an estimate to the customer, and at the customer's direction either repair the Product or return it unrepaired. Repair of the Product will begin only after payment terms are approved by customer and Micronet Inc. Micronet Inc will invoice for all applicable fees including diagnostic, parts, labor, and return shipping charges. If after 45 days there is no response from the customer to the repair estimate, the Product will be returned to customer unrepaired.
